Project context

  • Solo Project

  • The project aimed at addressing the issue faced by Apple Music app subscribers who encounter difficulties when attempting to delete multiple songs simultaneously.

  • The added functionality enables users to effortlessly select and delete multiple songs.

The Apple Music app project aims to enhance users' experience by introducing functionality that allows users to select and delete multiple songs at once from their library.

This includes implementing a feature that allows users to efficiently manage their music collection by selecting and deleting multiple songs at once.

The current issue with the Apple Music app is the inability to delete multiple songs simultaneously from the library, leading to inconvenience for users.

This limitation forces users to delete songs one by one, which can be time-consuming and frustrating, especially when dealing with a large number of songs. This problem hinders efficient music library management and impacts user satisfaction with the app.

I conducted testing with four Apple Music users to observe how they deleted songs from their library and how they feel about the current deletion process.

I've replaced the sort button with a select button to maintain simplicity while adding more functionality to the existing design.

Upon clicking the select button, users can either sort the songs as before or edit multiple songs simultaneously, including the ability to select and delete them from their list all at once.
